Initial Consultation

Your bespoke journey begins with a private consultation at our Chelsea atelier in London - either with Lucie Azari or a member of her dedicated team. In a quiet, considered setting, you will share your intentions, aesthetic references, and the context behind the piece you envision.

Lucie’s approach is intuitive, visual, and highly personal. Her strength lies in building visual systems - creating harmony between silhouette, fabric, and feeling. She works instinctively with each client, guiding the development of a garment that feels effortless and deeply aligned with you.

Every element of the design is carefully considered and can be personalised, from proportions and structure to subtle details that make the piece entirely your own.

Fabric Selection

You will be invited to explore a curated selection of exceptional fabrics, chosen by Lucie for their heritage, story, and exceptional quality.

Each material is introduced through touch and conversation -not only for how it looks, but how it moves, breathes, and lives on the body. The fabric you choose becomes the foundation of the garment and the beginning of its story.

The Toile & Fittings

Once the design and fabric are chosen, precise measurements are taken and the garment is first developed as a toile -a prototype created in calico fabric to establish the structure and refine the fit.

During this first fitting, proportions, movement, and silhouette are carefully adjusted. This stage allows every detail to be perfected before the garment is crafted in its final fabric.

Further fittings may follow as needed, ensuring the piece evolves naturally and achieves the clarity and precision that define Lucie Azari’s work.

Throughout the process, Lucie personally guides each step so that every decision remains coherent with the design and the person who will wear it.

The bespoke process typically takes four to seven weeks, depending on the complexity of the design.
